USDA Rural Development
The USDA B&I guarantee program provides guarantees to lenders for loans up to $10 million. Businesses must be located in towns of 50,000 or less to qualify.

The USDA CF guarantee program provides guarantees to lenders for loans for community Facilities project or borrower. Facilities must be located in towns of 20,000 or less to qualify.

Small Business Administration (SBA)
The Small Business Administration offers lenders a guarantee of 75% of the loan amount up to $1 million for 7(a) loans. In addition, the SBA 504 loan program provides long-term financing solutions for fixed-asset purchases.

Assistance for small business owners
SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a non-profit association dedicated to providing entrepreneurs with free, confidential face-to-face and online business counseling. Counseling and workshops are offered at 389 chapter offices nationwide by experienced business volunteers.
